The Topics of the
Grace Unity Conference

There are many topics that have division problems associated with them. Our goal is to work towards unity by discussing these issues but we also want to make it interesting for the audience, so one of our challenges is to pick topics that we can work on but also something that will keep the attention of the audience.

If we were to pick topics of division such as bible chronology and with the teaching of how old Terah was when Abraham was born, the audience would get bored really quick. So we discussed what would be interesting for the audience to hear while we work towards our goals.

Lately we have found the topic of “Eternal Life Through the Ages” a very popular and hot topic among grace believers. Some believers believe that salvation was always by grace through faith without works. Some believe that works were at one time involved before the dispensation of grace.

We thought the audience would enjoy hearing this topic so we put it first.

1. “Eternal Life Through the Ages.”

This topic has three main views among Christians but only two main views among grace believers:

A) Salvation always had works involved.

B) Salvation never had works involved.

C) Salvation at one time had works involved but now during the dispensation of Grace no works are involved.

Views “B” and “C” will be taught on.

Our next topics deal with believer’s today in a very personal way.

2. What happens to my soul when I die?

There are two main views on this subject.

A). One view teaches that your soul goes straight into the 3rd heaven.

B). Another view teaches that your soul sleeps in Christ and will be resurrected at the rapture.

The next topic is:

3. Where will my soul spend eternity?

There are 3 views on this topic.

A). The first view teaches that after the rapture, we (the body of Christ) will come back with the Lord at the 2nd coming.

B). The second view teaches we will come back when the new Jerusalem comes down from heaven at the end of the 1000 year reign.

C). The third view is that we will stay in the 3rd heaven for all eternity.

And our final topic will be:

4. Free Will

A) Do I have a free will to accept salvation?

B) Was I predestinated to have eternal life?

These should be very interesting topics for the majority of believers.

On the last day of the conference, Sunday December 13, the audience will be allowed to have their questions answered. You know those questions that have been bugging you for a very long time? Well, here is an opportunity to get them answered.

In the back of the meeting room we will have a container for you to put your questions in. When the time comes we will draw your questions, randomly out of the container and proceed to find a preacher that knows the answer. Of course, there might be a difference of opinion on the answer but we will hear all viewpoints.

So what we have for the conference are some great interesting topics and I'm sure the questions the audience will have will be very interesting also.

Come and join us. It’s going to be a lot of fun!
